FAQs

How do I register as a new player?

All participants will need to create a PlayHQ account to complete their registration for a competition. Once you’ve created and verified your account, you will log in with your email and password. This will allow you to register for the competition of your choice through the West Pennant Hills registration page on the website (linking to PlayHQ).

Can I use my ActiveKids voucher with West Pennant Hills Netball Club?

If you would like to use the ActiveKids Voucher, you will need to apply for a voucher number through ServiceNSW before completing your online Netball registration.  Click here to visit ServiceNSW and see if you are eligible for a voucher.

How do I register as a returning player?

MyNetball was turned off in December 2021. All players will need to create a new account through PlayHQ to register. MyNetball ID's will no longer work. If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact our club registrar.

What do I need to wear to play?

The West Pennant Hills Netball Club uniform is made up of our traditional colours - striking red and royal blue. For more information about uniform items and where to purchase them, see our Uniforms page.

What about players under the age of 18?

For players under 18 years of age, the player's parent/guardian will need access to the player's PlayHQ account and supply their contact details in the online registration form as well as the player's. Proof of age is required for all NetSetGo, junior and cadet players who have not previously registered with NetballNSW. For this purpose, all new players must provide the club with a certified copy of their birth certificate or passport; i.e. a photocopy certified by a JP.

Non-player registration (coaches and umpires)

If you are not registering as a player this year, but are coaching or umpiring, you will need to register as a non-player for insurance purposes. There is no charge for this registration. Please visit our Umpires & Coaches page for more information.

What if I have missed the registration cut-off date?

Once age group registration closes, team allocations are finalised. It may not be possible to place players in teams after this deadline, and a late registration process applies:

  • Contact the relevant convenor (see our committee members here)

  • The convenor will advise whether your registration can be accepted, according to the number of players registered in the respective age groups, and whether the late registering player can be placed in a team. If it is possible to register, the convenor will direct you to complete an online registration, including payment.

Do not submit a late registration via Play HQ until confirmed by the convenor - under some circumstances, components of the registration fee are non-refundable!

Does West Pennant Hills Netball Club offer any discounts?

We are pleased to offer the following discounts:

  • A discount of $45 applies to the third and any subsequent registrations in the same family

  • No fees are payable for the competition registration of WPHNC life members.
